The Historiathek – World War II Film Database is a collection of documentary films produced during the Second World War. This database offers insights into many aspects of the war and serves professional film productions as a basis for their own documentary films. zb Media GmbH offers film material and photos from the Third Reich era for the purposes of political education, scientific and art-historical research or teaching and documentary reporting on contemporary events in print, film, TV or online media. The licensed material may only be acquired for journalistic or scientific purposes and may not be used in any way for propaganda purposes, in particular within the meaning of Section 86a of the German Criminal Code (use of symbols of anti-constitutional and terrorist organisations).
